Hillarys Blinds x Mademoiselle Macaron

Written by Carolyn Henry
A top secret call from Hillarys Blinds last year saw us tasked with an addition to their PR gift hampers to launch their new Parisian edit...

With Emily in Paris at the forefront of our minds and in fashion our favourite city coincides with our love of soft furnishings with the launch of Hillarys Blinds new "Parisian Edit". Read on to find out more about how our macarons feature!

The brief from Hillarys was quite open. Simple. Elegant. Colourful. They loved our macaron favour boxes of 2 in the vanilla and blue caramel, but, could we incorporate the raspberry white chocolate filling instead? Absolument

The fabric swatches were sent up to us and we were in love! Reminiscent of French picnic blankets, the best quality gingham tablecloths and the quality linens made famous on the catwalks in Paris. Our favourite is absolutely the hand-drawn blue and white Paris lifestyle fabric.
Meantime, our kitchen team baked the most beautiful blue and ivory macaron shells to an authentic Parisian recipe ready for filling with the two flavours chosen.

Tags were supplied directly from Hillarys also, ready for hand-tying onto the favour boxes ahead of dispatch. These were in the Parisian edit style - red and pink linear pattern and a fantastique nod to all things pâtisserie menus!

The final flourish was a gingham ribbon in tones of red and ivory to emulate one of the fabrics to be used to tie the boxes. Tasked with sourcing this our teams scoured the haberdashery and were able to get a fantastic match!

Et voilà! The final favour boxes were ready for dispatch to Hillarys and ready to be included in the PR launch hampers. We were lucky enough to see a sneak peek and it was wonderful that our macarons were alongside other wonderful Parisian themed produce made here in the UK. We hope the recipients loved them and we can't wait to see these fabrics in homes soon!

If you're considering a brand mailing, or, we can help with colour-matching or printed macarons for a new product or event contact us and we'll be happy to discuss all of the options with you.

A bientot,
